Kendra – Abstract Portraits – Film & Digital

Got pretty excited with the way these photos of the ever-lovely @kendraclamar turned out – especially the ones with the plexiglass. Descriptions of how each was achieved in the captions. Digital captures edited with Rebecca Lily Lightroom Presets Vol. 4. Film shots captured with Lomography 100 35mm film.

I had Kendra hold up plexiglass we sprayed with water. The pink is from the reflection and back-lighting created by the cherry blossoms in front and behind the scene. Digital capture edited with Rebecca Lily Lightroom Presets vol. 4

This is a fairly flat film, so you’ll notice a difference in tone and depth compared to the digital captures above
Double exposure – Lomography 100 35mm film
Using a CD-Rom – I positioned it so Kelsey’s face was through the hole – the rest is a reflection of what was behind me. Captured with Lomography 100 35mm film

The solar glare was created by the sun hitting my crappy lens
(the crappier the lens, the better the solar flare)
